Physical Examination

Students registering for athletics must have a current physical examination on file in the athletic department before the student is authorized to participate in practice/tryouts. To ensure clearance for participation, physicals should be completed and turned in to the Athletic Director/Athletic Trainer no later than 5 school days prior to the first day of practice/tryouts.

Physicals must be completed annually and are valid from May 1 through June 30 of the upcoming school year. Virginia High School League Policy states no student may participate in any conditioning, open gym, practice, or competition without a current physical.
